# Cursor

> Connecting Cursor to the gateway through Override OpenAI Base URL.

Cursor works through `/v1/chat/completions` in the OpenAI format.

## Quick start

1. Open Settings → Models.
2. Enable OpenAI API Key and paste your key.
3. Enable Override OpenAI Base URL and set: https://ai-seller.vibe-codes.ru/v1
4. Click “Add model” and add a model ID from the [catalog](https://ai-seller.vibe-codes.ru/en/docs/models),
   e.g. `gpt-5.6-sol`. Select it in the chat.

## How it works

- Cursor's requests go to `/v1/chat/completions` with your key; usage shows up
  in the cabinet.
- Cursor features tied to its own models (such as Tab completion) do not work
  through a custom base URL — this is a Cursor limitation.

## Troubleshooting

| Symptom | Cause and fix |
| --- | --- |
| The “Verify” button fails | Cursor checks the key against its default model — add a model from the catalog and test with a chat request. |
| `404 model_not_found` | The model ID has a typo — check `GET /v1/models`. |
| `401 invalid_api_key` | Wrong or revoked key. |
